Peruvian/American Artist: “Donjouv Dancer” was born in Huancayo, Peru in 1973 and immigrated to the United States of America in 1977. Towards the end of grade school, Donjouv formed his first dance group at the age of nine, “Captain Krunch & the Funky Bunch,” taking first place in a talent showcase at the Vanalden School Elementary. The following year Donjouv joined the “Valley Boyz,” an Ultra-Wave/Electro Music dance group which included Harry “Brother” Binns and Duane “Defari” Johnson Jr. At the age of 15, Donjouv emersed himself in the Los Angeles Hip-Hop and House Music club scene and would soon become the youngest member of the “Scheme Team,” a bi-coastal hip-hop band founded and fronted by Mark “Divine Styler” Richardson, performing alongside artists; Malcolm McLaren, the Pharcyde, Ice-T, the Untouchables and Freestyle Fellowship.

In the early 2000’s Donjouv would assist A&R: Charles “Big Chuck” Stanton at Aftermath Entertainment, where he would receive further education in the business of music.
